The Leadership Versatility Index (LVI) is a 360° feedback process designed specifically for executives, focusing on the (further) development of versatile leadership qualities. We are the first consulting firm in Germany to certify and train HR professionals, coaches, trainers and consultants in the use of the LVI.

Leadership Versatility Index
Condensed into a compact and easy-to-understand model of four opposing but complementary leadership dimensions, the Leadership Versatility Index makes it possible to identify and actively counteract the "derailers" in one's own behavior. The conscious management of one's own strengths and weaknesses increases the versatility of leadership behavior and strengthens the leader's ability to guide employees and teams through an increasingly complex work environment.
In periodic workshops, we interactively teach you the content and specifics of the LVI. We continue being available to you after the workshops so that you can reflect on your own practice of the LVI together with our expert trainers.

Who should attend the workshop?
To become LVI certified, you should already be experienced in giving feedback, ideally to more experienced managers.
What is the approach taken by the LVI?
The Leadership Versatility Index measures versatility on two complementary pairs of leadership dimensions, categorized as "how to lead" and "what to lead". For more information, visit our page about LVI Assessments.
What is the workshop like?
Before the workshop:
- Pre-reading (approx. 1 h)
- LVI self-assessment (approx. 20 min.)
During the workshop:
- Virtual workshop. You will learn how to interpret LVI results and practice conducting a debriefing using interactive case studies.
After the workshop:
- Practicum: Using your own specific client case, you will discuss the results with a Master Facilitator in an online meeting, identify recurring themes and patterns, and prepare for your first debriefing.
- Optional: After the actual debriefing with your client, you will have the opportunity to reflect on this experience online with your Master Facilitator (approx. 15 min.).

The Leadership Versatility Index, with its scientifically validated 360-degree feedback methodology, provides an excellent foundation for coaching. Rather than classifying leadership behavior as “right” or “wrong,” it highlights how different leadership behaviors work in different situations and reveals the varying perceptions of different stakeholder groups. This enables precise reflection during coaching as well as nuanced, context-specific behavioral experiments in everyday leadership.
During the RELEVANT training and certification, René Kusch succeeded in helping us understand not only the LVI methodology in a very short time, but above all in identifying the relevant nuances in a coachee’s leadership behavior based on a real example from each participant’s own professional context. The combination of methodological depth, strong practical relevance, and the very small group size made the learning experience both intensive and highly effective, while also facilitating the transfer into everyday practice.
Another major benefit for me was the opportunity, already during the certification, to connect the insights from the LVI with a Hogan report and to explore the potential of this combination for coaching from both a theoretical and a practical perspective.
