3. Analyse Tools und Werbung

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google LLC (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For users in the EU, the responsible entity is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, and we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google.
Google Analytics uses “cookies” (see above). These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.

IP Anonymization
We have integrated the IP anonymization function into Google Analytics on this website by adding the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure the anonymized collection of IP addresses. This means that Google will shorten your IP address within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the USA, ensuring that your IP address is anonymized and cannot be traced back to you or your device. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

Browser Plugin
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser software; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to fully use all the features of this website. Additionally, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
If this does not work on your (mobile) browser or device, you can also use this link (Google Analytics Opt-Out) for opting out.

Objection to Data Collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the collection of your data during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

Order Processing
We have an Order Processing Agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Google Tag Manager allows us to manage website tags via an interface and integrate them into our online presence without creating user profiles or storing cookies.
The Google Tag Manager itself does not conduct any independent analysis. It merely facilitates the management and deployment of the embedded tags, such as Google Analytics or other marketing and tracking services. Your IP address is recorded and may be transmitted to Google servers in the United States.
The use of the Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in the quick and efficient management of our website tags. If we have obtained your consent for the storage of cookies or access to information on your device (e.g., via device fingerprinting) according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, processing will be based exclusively on this consent. You can revoke your consent at any time.
Regarding the processing of users' personal data, please refer to the following information on Google services. Usage policy: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

Google Ads
We use Google Ads, an online advertising program by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads allows us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when users enter specific search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Additionally, targeted advertisements can be shown based on the user data available on Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). As the website operator, we can quantitatively analyze this data by, for example, evaluating which search terms led to the display of our ads and how many ads resulted in corresponding clicks.
The use of Google Ads is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its services and products.
In addition to the basic functionality of Google Ads, we also use conversion tracking. This allows Google and us to analyze the behavior of users after they click on our ad. When a user completes a specific action, such as clicking a button or filling out a form, we can measure and evaluate these actions to determine the effectiveness of our ads. This processing is also based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR due to our legitimate interest in optimizing our advertising measures. If corresponding consent has been obtained, processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG, provided the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt out by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie through your internet browser settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
Please note that in the course of using Google Ads, personal data may be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA. The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
Further information on Google's data protection practices can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g., in a contact form) is done by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. To analyze, reCAPTCHA evaluates various pieces of information (e.g., IP address, the amount of time the visitor spends on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offers from abusive automated spying and SPAM.
For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google's privacy policy, please refer to the following links:

4. Newsletter

Newsletter Data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on our website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and consent to receiving the newsletter. No additional data is collected, or it is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered into the newsletter subscription form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, the email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you cancel your subscription. Data that we store for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the members area) remains unaffected.

MailChimp
This website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service that allows us to organize and analyze newsletter distribution. When you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g., email address), this data is stored on MailChimp's servers in the USA.
MailChimp is certified under the "EU-US Privacy Shield." The "Privacy Shield" is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA that aims to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by MailChimp, a file contained in the email (called a web beacon) connects to MailChimp's servers in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links may have been clicked. Additionally, technical information is collected (e.g., time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be attributed to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used solely for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you do not want MailChimp to analyze your data, you have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message for this purpose. Furthermore, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.
Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of MailChimp after you cancel your subscription. Data that we store other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the members area) remain unaffected.
For more information, refer to MailChimp's privacy policy: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

Conclusion of a Data Processing Agreement
We have a contract with MailChimp in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, in which we obligate MailChimp to protect our customers' data, not to use it for its own purposes, not combine it with data from other customers, and not to share it with third parties. This agreement can be viewed at the following link: https://mailchimp.com/legal/forms/data-processing-agreement/sample-agreement/.
